I have been a Goals coordinator since 2008. I thoroughly enjoy my role as Goals coordinator. It affords me with opportunities to live our Goals through interacting with other Goals coordinators at meetings and embracing the unique ethos our Sacred Heart schools promote.  I always feel inspired and motivated to instil the qualities Madeline Sophie Barat first brought to Sacred Heart Schools when we share good practice and use our time to learn from one another's. This in turn ensures that I can focus on the Goals among our staff, children and wider school community with passion and success!

It is a positive experience to see the variety of ideas each coordinator brings to live out the Goals each year.

Returning to school and installing a sense of pride in our Sacred Heart ethos is a gift. Helping pupils and staff to feel part of an international community and live out the goals in their daily lives is what I also enjoy about my role.

Patricia Boyle

St Catherine’s College, Armagh

Appointed Director of Chaplaincy Services of Mt St Catherine’s Primary School and St Catherine’s College, Armagh, in September 2013, I was given the invaluable opportunity to work with pupils from all walks of life, from little 4 year old children right up to independent 18 year old adults.

I have enjoyed every minute of my role within both schools especially promoting the Sacred Heart Goals as they instil uniqueness in our pupils that only a Sacred Heart Education can provide. It is with this uniqueness that our ethos becomes fully alive within our schools as our pupils are inspired and motivated by the leading ladies of the Sacred Heart namely Madeline Sophie Barat.

Catherine Xerri

Catherine Xerri

Sacred Heart Senior School, Malta

I have been Goals Coordinator from 2009. It gives me great pleasure in sharing my ideas with other coordinators. I find that every time we meet, after having our workshop sessions, we have similar ideas of how to approach each Goal. We have our own ways of doing things but essentially we put forward the most important ideas. This role gives me the opportunity of reaching out to the staff in my school and in doing it highlights the importance of team work and of working as a community.
