PRAYER FOR THE OPENING OF THE SOPHIE CHAPEL, MOUNT ANVILLE

 

St Madeleine Sophie, woman of prayer and of action,
woman with a vision for a better world,
you who spoke so often of the love
of the Heart of Christ, 

you who insisted on humility and silence 
as pre-requisites for God’s work in the human soul, 
 
we ask you to pray for us and for all who pray here 

that we may become more and more people of faith
of humility and of love, fired by the knowledge of
Christ’s love and committed to his service. Amen.

Lord Jesus, may all who seek help here receive it;

we ask you through the intercession of St Madeleine Sophie
to bless all those who come to pray here and give them your greatest gift:
the gift of your love, the gift of your Holy Spirit. Amen.
