RETIREMENT CELEBRATION FOR A VERY SPECIAL CHARACTER- MRS MARY WOODS
We had a very special celebration in our school to mark the wonderful career of Mrs Mary Woods. Mrs Woods is a past pupil of both our school and St. Catherine’s College. She has taught at our school for 38 years and will be missed by everyone. Mrs Wood encouraged the children to wear their uniforms with pride and to pray to our Sacred Heart of Jesus. The children and staff at Mount Saint Catherine’s Primary School blessed Mrs Woods and made a very special memory book for her. We wish her health and happiness as she enjoys her much deserved retirement.
F.A.S.T SUCCESS AT MOUNT SAINT CATHERINE’S PRIMARY SCHOOL, ARMAGH
Mount Saint Catherine’s Primary School is proud to have completed a FAST programme in their school. Families and Schools Together (FAST) is an award-winning early-intervention programme that brings parents, children, teachers and the wider community together, to make sure children get the support they need to fulfill their potential at school – and in life. This programme develops all aspects of the children and adults’ character. We are proud to be the only school in Armagh city to have initiated this programme.
